KNEO put its roots down in 1986. It was the project of Abundant Life Assembly of God in Neosho.
In 1988, Mark Taylor started as a volunteer, then later on as part-time until 1990 when he became Manager, then General Manager. And in 2000 he and his wife, Sue, founded Sky High Broadcasting Corporation, which today owns KNEO Radio.
KNEO has been through four signal upgrades, seven building expansions and has grown from a 10-to-15-mile coverage radius to today, where it covers a 50-to-60-mile radius and with Internet broadcasting all over the world now.
Each year on our internet side we break the records of previous month and quarterly reports of more hits and listeners. By mid-fall of each year we surpass the previous year's numbers.
We broadcast high school sports which allows us to reach into an unchurched setting and develops good relationships with your schools.
KNEO is governed by a Board of Directors, made up from the area of various church backgrounds.
We offer services for ministries and churches in building of websites for them.
We sponsor a Community Christmas dinner for the area each year on Christmas Day, which turns out hundreds.
KNEO is the local headquarters for Operation Christmas Child, the shoe box ministry for Newton and McDonald Counties.
For over 20 years, KNEO has headed up the National Day of Prayer in Newton County.
And for 17 years we have offered a Listener Appreciation Night with a dinner and concert for all those that support the ministry during the year.
Our audience, we estimate, is around 7,000 people who can not only listen by radio and Internet, but also on their phones.
This past year we've began video broadcasting some local high school games.
KNEO airs 15 or more programs that can't be heard on any other radio station in the area.
We operate 24 hours per day, 365 days per year and broadcast over 7,000 sermons each year.
Mark Taylor writes articles for four area newspapers. We hold "Awakening" events, have special speakers come in, and we are in the business of trying to stir the hearts of the church, that the church would become a much greater influence in our area and become the church that God intends for it to be.
We must follow a set of guidelines for programming and other issues, and they must be followed whether they are moral, personal or ethical situations.
We must realize that we should never allow our own personal convictions to rule without considering others as well. But we will not violate the principles of the Bible.
We will not hide or compromise our beliefs as servants of God and will not vary from the assignments He has given us. We want to assure our listeners that when are given comments, we do listen and evaluate what was said. Rest assured, above all else we will always place the comments on the Master's desk before we put it on our own.
These are things we do every day at KNEO:
Never change your God-given vision, but be willing to be flexible with the methods to see it work.
Engage the culture without compromising the truth.
Never bend the Gospel, but expand it.
We keep many statistics from various sources, and here are some that have me in great concern for the days in which we now live:
50 pastors quit the ministry each day.
3,500 people leave the church each week.
2,000 churches will close their doors this year.
85 percent of Americans claim the Christian faith, but that's impossible by the shape our country is in. The best estimates are maybe 15 percent.
In 1950, 50 percent of Americans did go to church. Today that number is 20 percent.
As of 2011, America became the largest unchurched population in the English speaking world.
70 percent of ministers say they don't have someone close to them that they can talk to.
45 percent of the pastors who start in the ministry will quit in five years.
83 people die every moment without knowing Christ.
Anti-depressant drugs have now increased in use by over 400 percent in the last few years.
400 Christians a day die for their faith over the world.
...but In America, we spend over $50 billion a year for pet-related products.
The government believes that the American churches cost the government $71 billion a year by not paying taxes.
More money is spent on Christmas presents each year than on missions work.
But here is some good news:
Each year, 5,000 standalone ministries are started in American.
30,000 people a day in China are turning to Christ.
And the greatest: the heart of the true church is getting ready to come forth
There are many hot spots of revival activity going on around the world
And the coming of the Lord is at hand. As never before in history, we now have the abilities to reach the whole world by the means of media.
It's all of the church arms working together, but it will be the airwaves that will reach that group of people.
That last man or woman is getting ready to hear the gospel, and I believe that there are many forms of media that can reach into the deepest hole with the Word of God.
But it's the churches with this media vision to support and use this tool to make this final thrust.
I'm glad that your pastor has a vision to reach beyond the borders.
In Genesis 8, it talks about seed time and harvest. There's a lot more seeding of God's Word going on right now than ever before.
In Mark 4, Jesus says, "For when the earth yields it's crops, then the grain is full and ripe, ready to harvest so put your sickle to work." That could be any that are supporting the harvesters.
In John 5, Jesus says, "I came to do the work of Him who sent me, that the harvest is now coming. Lift up your eyes and look at the fields for they are already white for harvest."
Listen to what Jesus says in John 5:36-38: (NKJV)
"But I have a greater witness than John's; for the works which the Father has given Me to finishthe very works that I dobear witness of Me, that the Father has sent Me. And the Father Himself, who sent Me, has testified of Me. You have neither heard His voice at any time, nor seen His form. But you do not have His word abiding in you, because whom He sent, Him you do not believe
We all share if we are busy working in some way in the fields. Laboring, paying other wages, supporting the tools being used. It all works together for those who want to work together.
Now watch what Revelation 14 says beginning with verse 14-18 (NKJV):
"Then I looked, and behold, a white cloud, and on the cloud sat One like the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a sharp sickle. And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to Him who sat on the cloud, "Thrust in Your sickle and reap, for the time has come for You to reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe." So He who sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped. Then another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven, he also having a sharp sickle. And another angel came out from the altar, who had power over fire, and he cried with a loud cry to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, "Thrust in your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for her grapes are fully ripe."
From here it actually goes on to tell us that there are two harvest projects going for the one of God that will come into His Kingdom.
That's who we are after.
And those who God will gather that have refused his Son.
But that means they heard they've been given a choice, and today men and women, boys and girls are standing at the crossroads of choices.
The Gospel is a clear voice, a clear choice. And the means of this message will be heard by the tool of media. And God is using people to work and support the workers in the field, people with a burden, people with a vision.
Revelation 3:20-22 say: (NKJV)
"Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne. "He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."
God is calling the church today to a most crucial time. "Harvest Time."
Right now God is positioning, looking for those laborers who will position themselves along the edges of the harvest fields ready to bring in the harvest.
Think about the harvest. There are many different grains, vegetables and fruits that are harvested each year. But it is the harvesting part of the season I want you to consider today.
Some things like tomatoes can be picked at different times for maybe 2 or 3 months from the vine. Corn has to be harvested in a 2-to-4-week period. The wheat harvest starts in late May in Texas and ends by early August in Canada. Peaches won't last as long on the tree as an apple or pear will. Time is limited for some more than others.
What I want you to see here is that in the early 1900s was the last real great awakening that started in Wales and lasted a few years. Each time from the reformation of the church on, the stirring for the harvest has gotten shorter. I believe we will see one last awakening of the church when, like never before, the true church will come forth miraculously with great signs and wonders, just as the Bible says in Hebrews 2:3-4: (NKJV)
"But God is looking only for laborers, investors into His great kingdom work. How will He do such?" Through people, through technology and only through the Spirit.
He is signing up people right now for tomorrow's incoming because Jesus spoke again in the red letters in Revelation, the very last chapter of the Bible.
First in verse 7, where it says:
"Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book."
Then again in verse 12: "And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work."
People, get ready! We are now on the verge of the greatest event that our generation gets to see!
This is no time to be sitting down. Get up and get the edge of the harvest fields. Ask God where He wants you, where you fit.
How can you support the very tools He has chosen to use? It's important because His very last words are found that Jesus spoke in Revelation 22:20: "Surely I am coming quickly!"
Are you ready today to meet Jesus? If not, right now is the time to get ready. Is there something in your life that maybe isn't right but needs to be?
Don't put it off until tomorrow. Today is it! It may be now or never, and if you are ready, are you needing direction to your field of harvest?
You need to make any of these areas right with God right now.

What We Believe: Our Statement of Faith
We believe that there is only one true God, the Creator and Sustainer of all things, the only eternal God that has inspired men of old to pass down His words, that every one of these words has great meaning, and the words are alive to those that choose to follow them today.
We believe that God has given to His followers the Holy Spirit to direct every person who chooses to be directed by God, and that God gave His son, Jesus, as our substitute for sin for all mankind- so that through the death and resurrection of Jesus, any who will repent of their sins, turn from their wicked ways and surrender their lives to follow Jesus will be saved and obtain everlasting life at the end of their time on this earth.
We believe that through Jesus and the Holy Spirit, everyone who follows the Word of God has power and authority to live a victorious life over the sins of the flesh and evil.
We believe that God moves in miraculous ways; that Jesus is the only way for everlasting life; that all of the Bible is to be lived out as examples of the power of God through Jesus the Christ our Lord and Savior; and that because of our belief, we can change the world through the divine power of the great "I Am."
